Sometimes you just gotta get out and have a little fun! It’s your reward for surviving all those gray rainy days. The pinnacle other sportbikes aspire to, the R1 has a way of unwinding the doldrums of winter like no other.
This R1 is in good condition overall (given its adult owner) — all service is up to date, needs no mechanical attention, no leaks, brake/chain/sprocket all in good shape. There is a minor tip over on the right side but it’s never been down. She looks great (even standing still.) Bonus? Stock engine and exhaust, so it retains that great from-the-factory R1 performance and sound. In other words, no one messed with it to make it “better” (aka mucking up the original precision tuning and calibration that leads to nothing but performance issues down the road).
*new Michelin Pilot Power III tires (less than 500 miles)
*newer Yuasa battery
*integrated tail lights and turn signal
This R1 hits the perfect balance. Not so precious you’re afraid to ride it every day for a spirited commute, but strong mechanically for years of hard-charging fun. And truly affordable.
